Planting of 200 wetland plants was able to be done at the end of November by this dedicated group of weedies. This years work had included ridding the wetland of major weed species leaving plenty of room for an awesome days planting for this lovely reserve.
Take a walk through the Langs beach reserve next time you are passing. Well worth a wander in the cool shade of the lovely pohutukawa and kanuka trees.
The group also had a wonderful end of year celebration to top off a very successful years work.
